Achievements
- With support from PFD, OCAG successfully mainstreamed Reproductive health activities into her micro-credit programs and supported women, men and young persons with micro credit loans from 2001 to 2014; OCAG trained men groups on Expanded Access to Services for Agricultural Enterprise.
- With support from BenSACA, OCAG trained representatives of youth women and men organizations in Apa and Agatu on Parent – Child communication a strategy for HIV prevention at home front.
- With support from SNR and ENR, OCAG worked with youth organizations NURTW and FSW in Otukpo Township on HIV prevention.
- With support from USAID MARKERTS, OCAG trained Care givers on business skills.
- With support from FHI, NACA and NLNG, OCAG developed culturally sensitive IEC materials for HIV prevention, care and support for the various groups.
- With support from CEDPA, OCAG implemented HIV prevention, care and Support. (Positive living project) in Obi and Oju LGA.
- With support from Oihoma Foundation for Development, OCAG provided widows in Otukpo LGA with piglets for livelihood.
- With support from MAPS, OCAG implemented malaria prevention in Apa, Obi, Ogbadigbo, Ohimini, Okpokwu and Otukpo LGA
- OCAG implemented HIV Prevention, Care and Support project in Bonny Island, Rivers state, in collaboration with the Ibani-SE HIV/AIDS Initiative Project, Bonny Island, Rivers state with support from NLNG.
- OCAG implemented HIV prevention among MAPs in Otukpo and Ohimini LGA with support from ENCAP.
- With support from PFD, OCAG trained her clients on the nutritional values of Cassava (Cake, Bread, and Chin chin); carried out Value Chain Analyses for her clients in the nine LGA of Benue State.
- With support from Christian Aid, OCAG implemented HIV prevention, Reproductive health, Family planning and TB prevention in Apa, Agatu and Otukpo LGA.
- With support from Christian Aid, OCAG implemented malaria, diarrhea and pneumonia prevention and treatment among under five children in Obi and Okpokwu.
- With support from Christian Aid, OCAG implemented COVID-19 emergency response project in Obi and Okpokwu.
- With support from Christian Aid, OCAG implemented Universal Health Coverage for the Nigeria Program in Enungba-Agatu.
- With support from STARTfund/Christian aid, OCAG implement the strengthening disaster preparedness in highly probable flood risk LGAs Project in (Makurdi and Agatu) in Benue and (Lokoja) Kogi states
- With support from USAID/Palladium under the strengthening civic advocacy and local engagement SCALE project, OCAG advocated for the implementation of the child’s rights law in Benue State, Nigeria.
